Renault 19 16v Phase 1 Alloy Wheel Refurb
First cleaning of the wheels.

Not bad condition to start with. Started with paint stripper and then a wire brush in a drill, sanding smooth, getting as clean as possible.
Cleaning that wheel took ages, so I thought I would be clever and get the pther 3 grit blasted.

Got them back and I was dissapointed! They had the texture of a sugar cube! Rough as ! not happy, had to sand them all down as best I could but couldn't get into all the corner, so will have to make do.
Primed with about 2 coats of etch primer.

Then about 2-3 coats of paint, BMW Titanium grey or silver was my choice. Then a good 3 coats of lacquer, applied with proper spray gun, makes all the difference.
Same for the caps and the finished items!
